Patrick Murphy posted his plan for school closure and consolidation, LP Brown was named as a closing school.
How you can advocate:
Spread the word! Talk to other families a the school, friends at other OSD schools, neighbors.
Educate yourself. Dive in to what is being presented and the data and metrics that are being used. Our Links and Documents page will help direct you to the District’s Long Term Planning page full of documents, as well as the website for local advocacy group, OSD4All, which puts out easy to digest information separate from the district.
Speak up! TAKE ACTION by emailing our Directors and/or signing up to speak at a meeting (dates of meetings listed below)
Connect and collaborate with others at LP Brown, WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER! Make sure you’re following LP Brown PTO on Facebook, and join the group Save LP Brown to collaborate with others.
